Passing through San Francisco, California, USA in September ('03) I trained at a Tuesday session of the Bay Area Buyu Centre, taught by Patrick McKee 7th DAN (7-8pm)and Dale Seago 13th DAN (8pm onward). There is also a Sunday session taught by Garth Lynch 2nd DAN (3-5pm)... which session I unfortunately missed, as I had to keep moving on along the road...

The Newbury dojo listed below has closed, at least for the forseeable future. However, I'll leave this post up, in case Leo decides to re-open it sometime.
About an hour from Reading on the train is Newbury, where Leo, 4th DAN (whose second name I must apologise for forgetting) has a dojo. Training there is on Mondays, 7-9pm at the Riverside Centre (off the high street).
Here are directions to the dojo from the train station, provided by Stuart Clarke, cheers mate!
"When you arrive at Newbury station you will need to cross over to the other platform to get the right exit. When you exit the station turn right and head up the small hill. take the first left and follow that road. As you follow it up it becomes a high street and will turn left, then turn right (like an s bend) then crosses the river. Boots (the chemists shop) should be a little way down on the right, and next to it a drive-way follow it and the Riverside is straight in front of you."

Hi. I've been training in Bujinkan for about three years to date. I put this blog together by way of thanks to all those I've trained with both at home in the UK and on my travels round the world. Also to share useful information on these dojos with other Bujinkan students who might wish to train in these places.
Ironically I've finally found the time to do this when I'm in the middle of a period of enforced idleness from training, because I'm currently based down in La Paz, Baja California del Sur, Mexico which is, unfortunately, 900 miles from nearest Bujinkan dojo in Tijuana!
For those of you who have somehow stumbled upon this blog and have no idea about the martial art Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu - also known as Ninjutsu - there's information at these sites:
http://www.bujinkan.com
http://www.bujinkanbritain.org/
http://www.bujinkan.ie
http://www.kabuto.nu/seminars/
http://www.kabuto.nu/portal/
plus more information at the sites I'll mention in later posts!
I will try to be as accurate with facts and information as I can, if anyone reading this spots errors or omissions on my part please email me at preacher@preacherjohn.co.uk and I will update and correct as necessary. Thanks!
